Greater Falmouth Community Chorus presents "A Winter Tapestry”

Sunday, December 3, 2017 - 3:00pm to 4:30pm
First Congregational Church of Falmouth
Family Friendly

The Greater Falmouth Community Chorus, under the direction of Maestro John Dulina IV, is pleased to present “A Winter Tapestry”, concerts of poetry and song at the First Congregational Church of Falmouth on Friday December 1 at 7:30 and Sunday December 3 at 3PM.  Tickets are $15 (Under 12  = $5) and are available at the door, from members, or Eight Cousins Bookstore.

Music is part of the fabric of life, and the Mr. Dulina has chosen pieces that evoke the sights, sounds, and other senses of this time of the year.  If one had to describe winter and the December holidays, this concert embodies the emotional feeling, the joy, the crispness in the air, and the childhood memories of holidays past.  There is a blend of music, something for everyone, from classic to contemporary to ranging from A Holly Jolly Christmas to Mozart and Bach.    “A Field of White” and “Colors of Winter” remind of the delicacy of snow, the crackle of the fireplace.  Poetry selections are woven throughout the concert and compliment the music and the joy and solemnness of the season.

Come along for a “Sleigh Ride” with the Greater Falmouth Community Chorus during Falmouth Holidays by the Sea Weekend on Friday December 1 and Sunday December 3.
