Alison Robb will lead walkers on a journey through Beebe Woods to look for seasonal plants and animals and help participants gain an understanding and appreciation of this extraordinary natural resource. A bit of history of the woods and the Beebe family and a description of the unique geology of the glacial moraine are included.

$5 donation suggested.

Walks will not be held in the event of rain.

Reservations are appreciated, especially for groups of five or more.

Cotuit Center for the Arts (CCftA) is pleased to announce the latest concert in the 2010 “Art on the Walls, Music in the Halls” music series: ENTRAIN. On Saturday, September 4th, we invite you to join us for 2 performances by the eclectic Martha’s Vineyard band. At 4 pm, we will have a family-friendly, all ages show, and at 9pm the action will rev up with a 21+ adult show.

If you’ve never seen Entrain, you are in for an unforgettable, percussive experience. If you’re a long time fan, you know that each one of their performances exhibits their ability to shift effortlessly between musical styles - from rock, blues, calypso and ska, to zydeco, jazz and funk - often within the same song.
