Doors open at 7pm and the shows begin at 7:30pm. There is a suggestion donation of $5.00 at the door.
The Art Barn Songwriter Series will be held in the Art Studio building to the right of the main building at Cotuit Center for the Arts. This special series will give music fans an up close and personal look at the area’s up and coming performers. As a surprise treat, nationally touring artists are expected to stop by for an occasional show.
“For a long time we have had the idea of creating a comfortable, fun and affordable series that works for everyone. Musicians get to share their work with a new audience, and music fans on Cape Cod have a regular place to come and hear some of the best new music being created. When we discovered the Art Barn, we knew it was the perfect space for what we had envisioned. I was thrilled when the folks at CCftA agreed to it.” –Tracey Delfino of Trespass Music
“Music is an integral part of CCftA's programming. One of the Center's goals is to be known as a venue for ongoing concerts, genre series and as a resource for music education. When Trespass Music approached us with the idea of a bi-monthly songwriter series, we jumped at the opportunity. The Center's studio is the perfect setting for such a venture and we look forward to expanding our musical offerings through the Art Barn Songwriter Series.”- David Kuehn, Executive ‘Director of CCftA
The season kicks off on Monday, September 13th, with Long Island based singer songwriter Joe Iadanza and Cape Cod’s own John and Rachel Nicholas sharing the night.
