The Cape Cod Conservatory's Falmouth campus presents "All Things Black and White," a mixed-media art exhibit from photography to paintings in duct tape!  

Opening Reception:

Guest pianist Gary Girouard will perform neo-classical compositions from his acclaimed Naked Piano series. The evening's reception includes dessert and beverages. Since this is a black and white art exhibit, we invite you to attend in your favorite black and white attire!

Addison Art Gallery of Orleans will bring five of its outstanding artists to Highfield Hall in an exhibition that focuses on homes and interior spaces. Artists include Penny Billings, Garry Gilmartin, Mary Moquin, Nick Patten and Paul Schulenburg. This stunning show is curated by Helen Addison, owner of Addison Art Gallery. Her gallery has been hailed by Cape Arts Review as having become "the gallery of choice for a large number of collectors, as well as the home of some of the most sought-after artists on Cape Cod. Falmouth Theatre Guild proudly presents this haunting musical about hope and rebirth.  Adapted by Marsha Norman from the classic book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, with music by Lucy Simon, the play  is directed by Laura Garner with music direction by Mimi Schlichter and choreography by Laura Faria Sciortino.

Bring your singing voice and help us make the rafters ring as we sing the great old Gospel songs that take us to higher ground! John Yankee will lead a quintet of musicians as we sing  bluegrass tunes, spirituals, and hymns, both familiar and rare. Refreshments will be offered to keep body and soul together. A donation of $10 is suggested.

LOVE LETTERS - a benefit for CCftA and American Cancer Society

Cotuit Center for the Arts and Director Melinda Gallant will bring to the Center’s intimate stage three one-time command performances of the popular play, Love Letters, performed by three different Cape Cod celebrity couples.  The performances are scheduled for April 30, May 1 and 2 as a benefit with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society and CCftA.

Love Letters by A. R. Gurney is the story of two characters, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III in which over nearly 50 years, they discuss their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats in letters that have passed between them throughout their separated lives.  

Wendy Northcross, Cape Cod Chamber CEO and Van Northcross, Marketing & Community Relations Director for Cape Cod Healthcare will perform on Friday, April 30th at 8:00pm at the Cotuit Center.

On Saturday, May 1st  Maggie Van Sciver, President of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and William Zammer, President of Cape Cod Restaurants, Inc. and a local philanthropist, will perform this touching reading at 8:00pm.

Sunday May 2nd will feature well known NPR celebrity Mindy Todd and Senator Robert O’Leary of the Massachusetts State Senate at 2:00pm reading Gurney’s Pulitzer Prize winning play.
